Honey the way nature made it, since 2010.
We started Al Safa Honey with one commitment: bring people genuine honey straight from the hive — unfiltered, unprocessed, unpasteurized. Today most of it is harvested in New York State.
We believe honey should reach you exactly as the bees left it.
Al Safa Honey was founded in 2010 by a family that simply could not find honey on a supermarket shelf that tasted the way honey is supposed to. Most of it had been heated, micro-filtered and blended until every trace of its origin was gone.
So we went straight to the source. Every jar we sell is 100% pure honey from American hives, most of them in New York State — raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and never heated above hive temperature. No syrups, no water, no blending, no corrections.
Our promise is simple: what the bees brought back is what goes in the jar. That is why our honey looks a little different from batch to batch, and why it firms up over time. Those are not flaws. They are proof.

6 of our 8 honeys are harvested by partner beekeepers across New York State: clover, pure raw, sunflower, blueberry blossom, wildflower, buckwheat. White clover pastures, open wildflower meadows, sunflower and buckwheat fields and blueberry blossom all give New York honey its range, from palest gold to near-black.
Two harvests come from beyond the state because their bloom grows best there: orange blossom from Florida and knotweed from North Dakota. We label every jar with where it was harvested.

From the bloom
Bees work one named floral source at a time, most of them across New York State, so each harvest keeps the character of its own bloom.

To the hive
Our partner beekeepers keep their colonies healthy, well fed and never over-harvested. Healthy bees make honest honey.

Cold-extracted
Honey is spun out of the comb without heat and never pasteurized, so the natural pollen and living hive enzymes stay in it.

To your jar
Strained of wax only, then poured unfiltered and sealed. Nothing added. Nothing stripped.
