Al Safa Raw Honey Is Now at Wholesome Farms Market in Brooklyn, New York

What makes Al Safa honey different

What goes in the jar is what the bees made: cold-extracted, never heated above hive temperature, unfiltered, with nothing added or taken away. Each jar comes from one named American flower, so the color and taste change from harvest to harvest.

Real raw honey firms up over time. That soft, grainy set is the natural sugars and pollen doing what they do in the comb, and it is a sign the honey has not been heated or over-filtered. To soften a jar, stand it in warm water for a few minutes. Never microwave or boil it.
